Shoot For Haiti

Shoot for Haiti will be offering discounted shoots to raise relief funds.
Shoot for Haiti is comprised of local Philadelphia, PA photographers and makeup artists looking to use their skills to earn relief funds for Haiti.

The Purpose

The purpose of our website and photoshoot based benefit is not to only to further spread the awareness of the issues in Haiti, but to provide support to those affected by the tragedies resulting from the recent earthquake and the toll it's taken on the inhabitants of Port Au Prince, Haiti. This event is established and organized by volunteers looking to give back to those in urgent need of our help. Proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross and local missions for relief for Haiti.

By using our existing networks of models, artists, and industry professionals, we plan to exhaust all resources to inform others of this benefit and assist in reinstating the importance of what it means to lend a helping hand.

Anyone familiar with the industry of photography, or has ever booked a photoshoot is aware of the high costs and expenses for these shoots, often exceeding well over $300. For this benefit, all photographers and makeup artists involved are lowering their rates to provide photoshoots for only $50! We believe that the highly reduced rate for an inclusive package will encourage individuals to participate and in turn quickly raise funds for Haiti.

We stand firm behind the belief that "every little bit counts", and look forward to doing our part to support those in need.

The first benefit will take place in Philadelphia, PA on February 6th. 2010

The second benefit will take place in Philadelphia, PA on February 27th. 2010

Types of Shoots:

Headshots - Actor/Actress/Artist/Model headshots for agency submissions, comp cards, etc.

Modeling - New or Seasoned models looking to start or add to their portfolio with a creative shoot.

Commercial - Professional style images for website, and business use.

Family Portraits - An organized shoot for friends or family members.

Photoshoot Details:

Each participant in the benefit will receive the following at the time of the benefit:

A one outfit / scene photoshoot

Professional makeup applied (if requested)

30 photos taken

A CD with all digital copies of the images from the shoot

A Shoot For Haiti T-Shirt

The members of Glamourville Studios have offered to allow Shoot for Haiti the opportunity to use their studios to host our benefit.
